Zombies!!!!

Ok, yet another blog about zombies. You may be thinking, "This guy is a little coo coo for the undead".

Maybe I am, or maybe I just know good stuff when I see it. Anyways here is plug for an excellent tabletop time killer, ZOMBIES!!!. Originally produced through twilight games,this semi-role playing, semi-d6 dice game. Zombies!!! brings a lot of flexibility and imagination to the regular board game you may be used to.

The game begins by allowing you to choose your hero and a tile containing a piece of a town that you start on, the goal of the game is to build your way to the exit or in this case a rescue heli. Throughout the way you have to scavenge ammo and health all the while trying to escape around or through an unrelenting horde of the undead, focused on taking you down. Its unique in that every game will be different by the tiles you draw randomly as you build the city. You get the chances to enter "named" buildings like the hospital or gun store or even the grocery store to refuel your ammo or health.

Each turn allows you to also draw from the card deck, which can yield weapons like the baseball bat or shotgun to increase your damage, or health or even tricks to play against the other players and vice versa.

The beauty of this series is in its unlimited ways to play the game. Since its inception people have created tons of ways to play the game with "scenarios". Expanding even into a Role playing version of the game.
