So I'm trying my hand at writing...

My assignment for last week in creative writing class was to write about anything we wanted to. It was an open assignment! Awesome I thought, this was a great opportunity to write something I liked. I pondered about what to do my paper on, nothing great was coming to mind. So I decided on the subject I really enjoy. You might had guessed, Zombies!

So after 3 hours jammin out behind the ol laptop, I finished an eleven page short story called "Survival". I showed around to some friends at work. I received positive remarks and when I read it class, all eleven pages of it. I received the same comments, everyone liked it. I was feeling good about the turn out and decided after class that I would continue the short story and work out to some kind of completion. I wanted to see how this story could end and maybe, just maybe it might be good enough to put in my portfolio.

So I am working on chapter 2 of Survival, pre edit of course, its call "Confusion". I can't share what I have just yet, I would end up clogging up my blog with continual updates. I plan to have chapter 2 done by this weekend, and posted on Monday 16th, however if you would like to see what is in progress shoot me an email. I am writing it in Google Docs and I'd be happy to share it.
